Rock Yoga

This all-levels yoga class will invite students to connect with their breath, body, and mind through present moment awareness. Classes will be designed to help students progress both on the mat and on the climbing wall. We focus on cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, focus, and mental clarity. The class will also place an emphasis on the muscles we use most on the wall: hips, shoulders, hamstrings, and more!

Open to all levels.

rocket yoga

Larry Schultz, created The Rocket® Routines, a series of postures based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga primary and intermediate series. The perfect union of tempo and sequence.

This vibrant routine is called the “Rocket” because, “it gets you there faster.” The Rocket® is designed to wake up the nervous system and feed it the precious prana it craves while promoting a spirit of change and freedom in the practice.

Open to all levels.

ashtanga FOUNDATIONS

Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional, highly active and dynamic form of yoga. When practiced, it demands a high degree of focus and concentration; generates an internal heat that cleanses and purifies; creates a strong, supple body; and brings clarity to the mind. One of the key principles—Tristhana of Ashtanga, these elements are pranayama (the breath) asana (the postures) and drishti  (gaze point or focus).
Our Ashtanga Foundations is inspired by tradition with room for improvisation. Parts of the series will be explored.

Recommended for a level 2/3.

flow and restore

Unites Vinyasa and Restorative elements. The first half of the class is an all-levels flow connecting breath with movement, allowing the body and muscles to warm up. The remaining 30 minutes of class will move to the ground and shift to a yin style class. This restorative format provides the opportunity for students to relax into deep, therapeutic stretches. Flow and Restore Yoga is tailored for climbers; poses are attainable for students of all levels. Tense climbing muscles will begin to open and students have an opportunity to explore deeper ranges of motion from holding static positions for a longer duration.

Level 1/2

yin yoga

Yin Yoga works deep inside, beneath the superficial muscles, targeting joints and connective tissue with long holds combined with breath work and meditation. This deep practice is gentle, yet intense, helping to increase the range of motion, flexibility and stimulate energy flow. Emotionally, Yin Yoga enhances our ability to stay with our experiences, in stillness, as they are without trying to change them but instead just watching and feeling.

Open to all levels.
